This was always a problem for me, too, especially before I started getting my sets calibrated. But sometimes, as you've noted, a different shot can be a different color on the same set... each camera is forced to use the light available to it, and lighting conditions are different in every location in the stadium. Some are in the shade, others in the sun, some have bright stadium lights just behind them, others have bright lights in front of them, etc. Or the Vikes may be wearing their throwback blue jerseys.
