Thank you very much for your kind and helpful advice
My impression is that with a good recording a lot of system can do a remarkable job nowadays
Nevertheless, as you say, to get a high end performance implies a substantial system
I am mostly interested in testing the mid to high range performance of my present set-up as I have intention to add a sub to complete the the sound in the low frequencies
I am thinking of actively crossing at around 300 Hz my present speakers used as satellite in an arrangement like this one
