CRT Coolant
Posted by ESDI-80 on August 28, 2010 at 18:25:25:
I was given a Proscan (RCA) rear projection TV. I have found the CRT coolant is leaking from all three tube assemblies.
Does anyone know a good reputable source for buying new coolant?
What is normally used to seal the CRT to the coolant chamber? Does this use O-Rings, or a silicone type sealer? The seals will need to be repaired before I can install new coolant.
Thanks,
Mike
