Got my first plasma, an LG 60PK550 last Sunday

$1388 for a 60" 1080p flatscreen at Fry's was just too good to pass up.

I'm pretty blown away that you can get something this good for so little green-PQ is excellent right out of the box. No motion artifacts, great blacks, contrast and detail, smooth like buttah on football and baseball, and blu-rays look amazing. Only negative so far is the highly reflective screen, but the light control we have (wood blinds) in our viewing room and the fact that we do at least 90% of our viewing at night make that a largely moot point for us. I took a close look at the alternatives (Panasonic S2 and Samsung C550 series) and the LG looked at least as good as the Panasonic and better than the Samsung to my eyes, and the other 2 were 58" sets.
