BDP33FD Blue Ray player connect to Internet help?

Posted by hgeifman on November 9, 2010 at 14:16:04:

I am considering replacing my Pioneer BPD-95FD DVD with the Pioneer BDP33FD Blue Ray player ($500) that supports online streaming input. How complicated are the steps to program the unit to connect to the Internet? I will have an ethernet cable connected to the unit. My retailer was not much help and I need to know if I can perform these steps myself or do I need an expert? What is required to access Netflix movies on this unit? What other Internet delivery options are available?

My Retailer said the quality of the Netflix movies is not the best. What is your experience of seeing Netflix movies on your unit? I have an 10meg cable connection. Should I increase it to 18meg for movies?

Your comments are appreciated.

Thanks
