Plasma would not turn on. LED was blinking but nothing...

Posted by Elizabeth on November 20, 2010 at 14:50:32:

I was thinking: "Damn I am screwed!"
But since I tried several times and nothing but the blinking LED. I though it was strange, after looking at the back and no fans, as if no power.. strange, so I finally turned off my Furman REF 20i and back on.. Plasma turned on normally.
So something messed with the one outlet on the back of the Furman power conditioner enough to do something to the A/C current (the Furman puts out balanced 60V/60V A/C.. so maybe one leg was shunted/cut??? . Other stuff from the Furman was working fine. I had a four power interruptions today, so they must be working on the power grid near by (very unusual).
Anyway I am happy my $5,000. plasma is OK. (I bought it back when a top quality 42" was $5K ... I got a deal and paid $4K.)
