RE: How to get HDMI audio to non-HDMI audio system?

I dont think the htpc has hdmi or it would work. it probably has the other conections that have no audio. I have a tv with a computer input or I can use the converter cables for hdmi. either way theres no sound. I have to hook up rca to the tv for sound. If you have rca on your tv try that,if it dont work use your amp. I own a htpc too so yours should work.
ps my htpc has a small stereo pin jack that has the converter rca cord for the sound.
