A buddy of mine and I just each ordered the new $500 Oppo blu-ray player. I hooked it up last night, I cannot believe the PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY ON THIS THING!!!!!!

Best five hundred bucks I've ever spent.

I'm running analog out into the dvd-audio inputs of my Arcam receiver.

I watched a dvd of 'Friday Night Lights' - it looked like blu-ray the upsampling was so good.

This is really a bargain for the money.

My old player was a BDP-80. Yes, this is better. A LOT.
