Sony KDS 55A2020 rear projection LCD

Posted by kmulk01 on April 3, 2011 at 13:08:09:

My Sony rear projection LCD TV seems to have a bit of a hot spot in the center of the screen, visible only in bright scenes (especially white).

As well, under certain conditions the right top and bottom corners are slightly off color, almost like the projection is a bit off center. I can best describe it as a slightly blue/grey tinge to the picture in the corners.

Is this type of flaw something to be expected with this technology or is there something out of adjustment that I might be able to fix???

Thanks in advance for any info/advice!
