Better HDMI cable to decrease clouding/flashlighitng?

Posted by efhjr on July 3, 2011 at 14:49:20:

I've got a six-month old Toshiba 55UX600U edge-lit LCD TV. Watching blu-ray on Oppo BDP-95 through monoprice HDMI cables there's flashlighting and clouding, even after I've dropped backlight setting to zero and turned up contrast.

When I watch TV-direct sources, like Vudu or the widgets fed via Ethernet, the flashlighting and clouding is considerably less noticeable.

Could my problem be the cheap HDMI cables? Any recommendations for 4-meter cables in the $60 price range?
