that's happened to me twice. First, on one tray of an Onkyo dual tray

CD burner and the second time, on BOTH trays of a Harmon Kardon CD burner. Each worked flawlessly for at least a year. Now they'e both trash.

My 3 OPPOs are still opening and closing nicely. Good luck.
