I found this site for DTV and/or OTA fans.

Lots and lots of technical info on DT broadcast stations; video bitrate and sometimes even audio info.

Go to: Listings/Web Listings for market groupings.

One thing is confirmed: once you leave the "-1" stations and go to the -2, -3 etc channels, the quality goes minimal. Typically 480, rarely 720.
