I bought a new 19" RCA in the late 70s for $400, and it didn't even have a remote. That was $100 more!! It did have a digital tuner though. The set only lasted about five years. A friend gave me $100 for it and spent another $90 to get it fixed.
Amazing how prices have have dropped on TV sets.
