RE: I saw an OLED tv today.

The blue OLEDs last longer than they did a few years ago but neither LG nor Samsung will say how long. Instead of LG using an extra subpixel (WRGB) to create "white" light maybe they should add a spare blue subpixel that does not come on until the first one goes bad or drops below a certain output level. That should just about double the blues lifespan. The OLED sets still have motion-blur problems and the curved screens they both use produce some distortion. No doubt there will be flat OLED displays so that problem will be eliminated and motion-blur is delt with (at least for now) the same way as it is with LCD displays.
