RE: 4K PJ options?

At the moment, the only true 4K home market projectors are made by Sony. The others are pixel shifting designs. The lowest price Sony 4k projector is the 300 series (approx $10,000). The newest 600 series is approx $15,000. Texas Instruments has announced a new 4K DLP chip for home projectors, but the timeline for market introduction and prices are not available yet. HDR performance is not as good for current projectors as it is for flat screen tvs. Also beware of last years models that may not be HDMI2.0 or HDCP2.2 compliant (one can work around this by getting a HDFury Integral).
