Not dead, but certainly not in it's prime. I don't subscribe to premium networks, not enough there to make it worth the price. I do have somewhere around 1,500 discs in my video library. I still watch them periodically, especially some imports that aren't available on streaming. The picture is usually better on Blu-Ray than the equivalent HD streaming.
