This film starts with two American couples hiking in Bhutan when an accident occurs and changes everything. This opening sequence is lengthy but sets the mysterious tone of the film. Then we transition to the present time where James Badge Dale becomes the protagonist. He's an ex-St. Louis cop who has a tenuous relationship with his neighbor and her daughter. When the daughter disappears Badge begins a quest to find her and unravel the circumstances. (You may have seen this plot before if you substitute Badge for Mickey.)

The film's lighting starts on a bright note but gets darker and darker as the story continues. (Noorish.) This is well done but the storyline (a graphic novel) may not up to highbrow pretensions.

understand what's the point of posting for discussion movies that are tripe? It's like visiting a foodie site and evaluating McDonald's or Burger King or Sonic...

I've only had one of those so far having been a 'brown sack' & leftovers 4 lunch guy. kinda partial to the Wendy's Spicy Chicken if I must do 'drive by' eats ... in any event, all the fast food from any source adds up pretty quick in the too much salt dept. not to mention cholesterol

good gawd, I feel like I just posted to the AARP web forum!

You should lighten up and enjoy yourself. It's all about greeting cards, isn't it?

. . . how SJW academics have decreed that composers should NOT be referred to by their last names only. IOW, references to "Mozart" are verboten - and exclusionary, racist and sexist to boot!

easily the equal of Popeye's much (deserved) heralded chicken samwich. Both very good but Wendy's has far, far, more options for dressing that sammy.

Never understood the appeal of the Chick Fil A chicken. Sure, when they were passing out free samples (a bite or two at the most) at the mall they taste yummy but a whole sandwich, tho tasty, is salt overload x2.

it's mostly the bun ... all in the bread

it's made with fresh confirmation wafers and the chicken isn't merely prepared it's sacrificed! & salted to taste, just not yours, or humans, that's good chicken!

durable.
