examination of how many European countries ascended the economic ladder--- and how the fledgeling colonies learned those lessons. By the director who brought us the excellent, "I Am Not Your Negro," the James Baldwin documentary, Raoul Peck.

If you like to consider other viewpoints, are open to some facts about how the real world is and not like it's necessarily portrayed by "the victors," I'd say this is a must-watch. It's got some amazing tech segments, like the immigration of our long ago pre-history ancestors streaming-out-of-Africa and dispersing around the world shown in time-lapse. Also, the superimposition of Native-American tribes' names upon the US map is eye-opening, as is the portrayal of the length of time it took to "clear away the savages."

story-telling, the multi-media blending, needs attention to appreciate. Well worth it, though.
