Fantastic true story of corrupt cops in Baltimore. From the director of 'The Wire' - hands down one of the best tv shows ever made.

Knock out performance by Jon Bernthal who is fast becoming one of my favorite actors.

Worth signing up for HBO Max to get it.

Those familiar with The Wire will recognize some familiar faces in the first episode.

Jay, the fat Sgt. from The Wire wasn't too much of a surprise because he's so recognizable. The one that was a surprise was seeing Poot. He's grown up some and with the beard it took me a while to figure out who it was.

There's probably some others I missed.

I thought I recognized him! But I thought he was Cheese and then when I couldn't make the connect to Cheese through IMDB I gave up.

Slim Charles, okay. Thanks.

I'd be remiss to not mention Marlo Stanfield(Jamie Hector)!

Good call! I'd forgotten about Herc's brief appearance. I think we've got all The Wire characters identified now. :-)

One more I noticed. Detective Vernon Holley from Jay's squad in "The Wire" shows up as Judge Andre Davis in E5 of "WOTC".

Terrific cast, from Bernthal down--- I'd give the Emmy to Jamie Hector's portrayal of Sean Suiter.

I finished it a couple of days ago and had to run some errands. I couldn't help thinking, when I passed a cop car, that were I black and just a few blocks away, I'd be feeling a lot differently...

Not just great entertainment; this miniseries rises far above it to show a world relatively few people experience. Here in KC, a cop FAR worse has been under "investigation" for years and years with NO results, yet.
