Not sure what Coppola was pitching but it seemed to be a cross between American Fellini and David Lynch. Regardless, all the AI in the world couldn't quite compensate for the story filled with comparisons and tributes to ancient Rome. I found Audrey Plaza amusing and Dustin Hoffman (brief performance) interesting as a human sacrifice to the story. Oh well, looking at Rotten Tamaters makes me feel right about this one. |
