I'm looking for a new receiver for my HT rig. All the speakers are high efficiency and the sub woofer is self powered. So any recommendations for a low powered unit with high sound quality?
thanks.

Here's one at 50 watts per channel.

Even if you go up the food chain most HT receivers hover around 100 watts per channel. Is that too much?

Thanks for the reply. I settled on a Denon AVR-X1800H

If you have Apple TV I recommend The Studio for some cool surround sound. Mostly jazz drums from renowned drummer Antonio Sanchez if you're into that kind of thing. Same guy who did Bird Man.
