The first half-dozen Bond films were mildly entertaining (I'm being kind here) but the series quickly ran out of steam.... by the time Roger Moore took over the franchise was lame beyond believe ("Jaws" and the Redneck Sheriff? Puh-lease!).I think the new movie should have featured Bond fighting martians, pirates, ghosts and robots -- it's just a bunch of fantasy kiddie crap anyway (he has an invisible car in this one?!?) so why even bother dealing with reality?
