I know this answer and it's one thing that we less clever Americans have had a problem with for years... because only a culture as clever and sexually repressed as the British could come up with this... pure genius. Do you really want to know what it is? Here you are:They're not gay. They act gay to get the women.
And yes, it must be the colleges... that's where they learn to be intelligent while we tend to have people try to ban parts of the curriculum or demonstrate against them thar homeysexuals for corruptin' our youts.
