A brilliant description.
I also think that Tampopo is a work of sheer genious.
The one thing i like about Juzo itamis films is you can follow the movies plots and caracters with ease.
The plots are not to heavy and there is always a unique perspective on life in and around Tokyo.
A taxing woman is my all time favourite film and i bought it on Laserdisk and dvd.
The tax inspector and her never ending energy in capturing the elusive tax cheat was and still is a journey into a never ending world of film creativity.
Every time i watch Tampopo i get drawn in to all the different characters,Not to mention a raging hunger for noodles.???
