Excellent WWI movie about life in the trenches at the time of the battle of the Somme . Not much in the way of fighting, but really focuses on the individual British soldiers in the trenches just before and up to the battle. Great performance by a younger Daniel Craig, and also includes a young Cillian Murphy. One character looked so familiar it was driving me crazy not to figure it out...finally, lightbulb went off...it was James D'Arcy, who played Thomas Pullings in Master and Commander (one of my fave films)

Very much worth a look...on Amazon Prime.
