Beautiful, simply beautiful. A quiet and haunting masterpiece with no shouting, no banging on the head and lots of human faces.
The young actress has all the right elements of becoming a true star - beautiful yet deep appearance, manners, sense of timing, you name it. So how come she has not done anything since? Yeah, I know about the small role side-by-side with Gorbatchev, but I don't think that counts. What's wrong with those European parents? Too busy reading Kafka and watching De Sica? She shurely could have used one of them Hollywood ramrod moms...
Anyway, my strongest recomendation.
