Lathe of Heaven-- PBS version of Ursula LaGuinn

166.102.96.32

The PBS movie of 20 years ago has been revived. I just saw a tape of a recent broadcast and holds it up pretty well. Adapted closely from a sci-fi novel by Ursula La Guinn.

What would happen if your dreams could create a new reality, erasing the past? Would things automatically be better? Would you be afraid to dream?

Excellent video. Too bad public tv hasn't done more things like this.

My taped copy has a red streak running through it. PBS must have processed it like this so that people would want to buy their taped version. My local affilliate was selling the tape for $80 with a station membership.
