I just bought the DVD of La Traviata with Angela Gheorghiu, Leo Nucci (conducted by Solti). It was recorded in 1994 at Covent Garden.
INCREDIBLE! I love the cd version of this, but the dvd is a revelation. Not only is the picture quality to die for, but the dd 5.1 sound is a real treat.
If you are tempted by this, don't hesitate.
Just thought I'd share.
