I though I was already tired when we started watching it, and I was, but I quickly forgot.
The best film about music? Hard to tell, but an incredibly enjoyable two hours, music, actors that act, for God's sake... beautiful human faces. Beautiful because they are human.
I think we need to pass an international law that Sweden must produce a couple of Titanics and few Pearl Harbors before making another one like this. Otherwise it is unfair, and it makes us feel bad, and it ain't good...
Anyway, lots of fun while, and lots of thinking after, and not much concern regarding the hero's sexual orientation.
And here is more - that opera has NOT been one of my favorites, but now I want to hear it again.

Ah, yes, highly recommended. Have you seen her other works? I'll check my local sources. She apparently started quite late. Good thing she did.
