Saw "Angela's Ashes" last night

This film paints a bleak picture of life in Ireland in the 30's & 40's with excellent acting & the music score. Not a happy film to watch but very satisfying if you appreciate good drama. It came up well (from a digital satellite broadcast) on the big screen with some intelligent photography.
