I think it is only called Samurai 1, 2 and 3 in the US (why? - beats me) and original titles were something like "Musashi Miyamoto", "Duel at Ichijoji Temple (1955)" and "Duel on Ganryu Island (1956)".
I like Tosiro a lot, he was a great actor. Interesting, how come Japanese actors don't normally merry five times in their lives?
Can you imagine, living with beloved wife for 45 years, see her die and die yourself two years later?
So non-hollywoodish...
