Yep, saw it last weekend, and HATED IT! For me, this was just a typical S. King story...strong start and character development, then downhill into a very poorly plotted story. The John Turtorow (sp) character held alot of promise as a villian, imo.
I like Depp as well, and love The Ninth Gate, Ed Wood, and a few others...haven't seen the Mexico film, but will give it a try on your recommendation (one of the few positive things I've heard about this film). I'm not giving up on Depp...but I've had about enough of Stephen King on film.
