I would prefer to say no one word about this film. But I told Victor so I will.
Of course many critics could put tons of words on it. You see this film and you think of Bergman some of the time, then it is Murnau but more on the Klaus Kinsky and Adjani side, then you feel it is the Six Senth for intellectual, the plot of an abort Hitch, an allegory of a picture in a still position, a second take moving in the parallel.
The big Clock are we within or outside or both? The mechanism is inexorable.
Is what we see real? But yes it is not.
Actors outstanding, EmanuelleÂ´s body is worth the epitaph. Radziwilowicz is perfect.The erotic left me cold, I am not this kind of voyeur.
This film left me cold. Iam just too lazy to follow Rivette, you have to analyse so hard that you keep moving at the slow pace of this film.
Do I regret it? No.
Will I see it again, yes-Maybe.
