"In the Cut"

In anoither of her attempts to get out of the cutsie romantic comdedy roles Meg Ryan plays a a horny inner city high school English teacher who gets involved with police detective Mark Ruffalo.
Ruffalo is investigating a serial killer who dismembers his female victims. The problem is that Ryan suspects that Ruffalo himself just might be the killer. Lots of sex here. There are two underwritten chracters not essential to the plot. Jennifer Jsason Lee plays Ryan's sister and a totally out of place Kevin Bacon plays a former Ryan lover who is an overworked hospital intern.
For some reason I watched this twice and liked it better the second time.
