I have always been aware of the duality throughout the film (white and then black lingerie, the two parents' pictures in Marion's room, two protagonists, two sisters, mirrors everywhere, two murders) but this time through I noticed the two uneaten (by Marion) sandwiches and the two proffered photos (the real estate man and the private eye Arbogast).
I have alwways found it strange, however, that a film set at Christmastime has absolutely no decorations in any scene.
