This is 1999 film is a big Indiana Jones type update of the black and white classic. It features Brenden Fraser as an Indy type who is searchiong for treasure in the lost City of the D in Egypt. Assisting him are a brother and sister archaelogical team. Along the way they battle all sorts of villians, the ultimate being the reincarnation of a reincarnated high priest Imhotep who is seeking to reincarnate his mummied lover, wife of the pharaoh Setti. Worth watching. Once. A lot of fun and wonderful special effects.
