"The Jacket", starring Adrien Brody and Keira Knightley

We watched a few movies this past weekend and I was surprised at the resulting take on them as I picked the worst as possibly being the best! The Lemony Snickets film was terrible. It had, what I had assumed to be the best chance with one of if not the biggest budget and best collection of actors. The animation in the credits as well as the music was excellent, and I do mean very enjoyable on its own, but the film was a complete waste of time!
"National Treasure" was a surprise in that it was actually watchable and fun, despite being as dumb as expected. While the real "shocker" was "The Jacket", which looked, well... disturbing. It was done in the classic flaskback - flashforward edit where there are bright lights and noise at the cuts and had some really more interesting moments and a real story despite its totally ridiculous premise as well. The real lucky find for me was the band "The Jane Doe's" who did the music and whos CD can be found here:
