Miochael Crichton wrote the novel and screenplay and also directed this film about the notorious robbery of a moving train in 1855. Sean Connery andf Donald Sutherland star as the thieves and are assisted by Leslie Anne Downs of "Upstairs Downstairs" fame. The novel is very complex and the movie simplifies many plot points and also adds more humor. Very enjoyable with some really terrific scenes.
