I caught the second half of it on TV, and got drawn into it. Cate Blanchett was superb, and given my serious admiration for her talent I felt I was treated nicely. Ditto for Tommy Lee Jones - they together formed a marvelous duo. Definitely an above average American movie, and what I saw makes me want to rent it to see it in its entirety.
I normally don't like Ron Howard's films, this may be the first one I consider worth the time.
