Uma makes a terrific heroine, with the "mentor" played with just the right of curmudgeon-ness. Tarantino fans will love the one-eyed assassin reading from her notebook: a classic as we watch the drama upon the floor.
The 2 violent trailer scenes, the fantastic escape sequence, the hilarious whorehouse scene, the final showdown: classic Tarantino which raises the action entertainment bar far, far above any other Western director.
Though it has an Eastern flair, this is a great Western.
