Hollywood remake in every respect. The many location shots were superb, as well. That seems to be something Hollywood is eschewing these days: all the budgets go to Fx and stars' salaries and they end up filming on some set, asking you to believe that computerized Cathedral is "real." Right.
Back to the chase: I must point out how excellent Benicio DelToro was... and, if memory holds, the Hotel Rhwanda guy, Cheadle, too, in Traffic.
