I have seen all of Brad Andersons films and liked them, tho' Session 9 isn't quite as tight as the Machinist, I've become a Fan
The Machinist takes a lot of risks as a film and I agree with you it all comes together well at the end. You would probably like Donny Darko ( tho' not a B. Anderson film ) as that goes out on even more of a limb and ultimately works
