I'm just amazed that you don't like the original music; stunned in fact.

The original symphonic score is awesome and exhilerating; I've never been fond of synthesizers and Wurlitzer organ scores; piano is just okay, as long as it isn't tinny sounding. A chamber orchestra is usually excellent and a full symphonic score is the creme d'le creme.

I haven't heard the Moroder version, but I'm not fond of rock lyrics being introduced in period films, regardless of how good the music is, and I'm a big-time rock music fan.

At any rate, as much as I hate to admit it, patrick is correct on this; the approach he suggested is probably the best one to take.
