Natasha Kinsky, John Savage, Robert Miitchum, and Keith Carradine star in this story of a returning WW II POW who has so fixated on his lover that he after nmarrying her he cannot perofm sexulally with her. The movie is well written and well acted and the period costumes and vehicles are very realistic. Filmed in and around a small industrial Pannsylvania town, the film has gorgeous cinamatography. John Goodman (looking very young) has a small supporting part.
