Woody should stick to comedy.
Here, we are led along as if in another one of his marital-infidelity/fidelity morality pieces when... kablam! we find out we're in some kind of murder intrigue.
It all seems so matter of fact one wonders how the actor managed to get up the energy to pull the trigger.
No insight into the killer's mind or choices.
All rather unbelievable.
From the get-go, actually: an Englishman of vast means and well-bred family is delighted his daughter is marrying a... ill-bred Irish failed tennis pro?
Oh, Woody! Next up, an Upper West side Donald-type goes all squiggly when HIS daughter shows up with a black NFL reject?
And Scarlett, poor Scarlett... oh well, she does remove her shirt and there is a wonderful scene of her in a soaked shirt. That those scenes stand out so point to the poorly written character she was trapped in.
Lots of good actors wasting their time. Don't go and save yours.
