I have seen this on tv a few times now and despite a predictable story and bubble gum cuteness I like this quirky movie about the seemingly ditsy blonde who goes to Harvard prepared with her pink perfume smelling resumes.
Occasionally the sheer charisma of an actor, in this case Resse Witherspoon, manages to surpass the logic and plot devices to make this an utter brain candy hoot. Elle Woods is the perfectly loveable stereotypical blond.
The silly grin as I watch this movie is undeniable and thus it deserves my recommendation.
Speaking of Reese Witherspoon -- she seems to take on slightly quirky roles - there is usually something else she brings to film - Mainly I am think ing of Election, Pleasantville, Walk the Line and this film
