Well first I would really not try to justify Christianity in any way shape or form. I also would not judge a society based on the clothes they wear or even necessarily the way they live. The fact that westerners believe themselves better solely and entirely based on the size of their p[halic buildings and whether they have a 15 room house is basically a society that judges all human worth by the value of their dollar.

The us versus them approach doesn't work to solve any solution to the very real problems out there. As an Agnostic/Athiest I would prefer all religions (including the Corporate run part of science that is just another controlling religion) to crumble completely. That is the first step to salvation and when people are ready and willing to seek some sort of reasoned enlightenment.

The issue of saving others is a two edged sword when you see the backroom prices those in need have to pay for that aid. You see the help in action on CNN but you don't see the aftermath of the "lop-sided" afterpayment plan. That would make your credit card interest look like chump change. After all it was America that PLACED the Taliban in Afghanistan in Power in the first place - america isn;t the least bit interested in Freedom around the world or even at home. Until people at home begin to realize that we are fattened up apathetic sloths who let the government do whatever they want for their own gain it ain't getting any better. When you have nothing to lose you will revolt against government when thye do the world wrong. But when the people are given $29.00 DVD players a nice little house with a car and a tv set and annual vacations then that is too much to RISK in order to stand up and fight. Thus the perfect dicatorship that flies with the words "We do what we do in the name of National Security and or National Defense."

The Republican part sure have learned their history and they have corrected the mistakes of Herman Goering.
