Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

I remember "Night of the Shooting Stars" very well...

saw it at the Detroit Film Theater when it first came out (late '70s?). Very impressed, would like to see it again.

How about another Italian film with a similar depressing/uplifting feel to it?--"The Tree of Clogs" (late '70s as well). The story of an impoverished family in a commune in rural Italy, and how the father gets in trouble by cutting down a poplar tree belonging to his patrone, in order to fashion a pair of clogs for one of his children. Anybody remember this one?
