Hear ya... but...

Soderbergh sits so low on my totem pole that it would take an enormous force to make me rent it.

So what do you do when someone whose opinion you generally trust screams about a director you hate? I wish life was easy and I didn't have close to 70 films in queue, plus many more sitting on the floor, on the ready, plus that bag of what... twenty some DVD's that Patrick gave me and I forgot in his Porsche 4S, to be taken next time around? What do I do to all those Russian movies I bought a couple of weeks ago? There is that latest Dostoyevsky Idiot, that people rave about. There is Kira Muratova's Nastroischik I must see, and a bunch more.

Is there a room for Soderbergh in that? I wish there was, but it is so hard... life being so short and good films so many.
