"One Fine Day"

I don't know why but for some reason I was expecting more from this formulaic romantic comedy starring George Clooney and Michelle Pfieffer. Both play divorced middle agers who each have custody of a child, she a son, he a daighter. The kids go to private school together and on this particular day Clooney and Pfieffer each find themselves without a babysitter or other caretaker and each has important career demands. Off to a bad start, their relationship grows when they agree to share the kids' care so each can mmeet the job demands. Curiously flat, despite the good looks of each and the authentic New York City locales. So so, not a keeper.
